Circular CNC machined plastic components
The central bore, four face holes and curved edge recesses need a shared locating scheme. The drawing identifies which feature locates the circular plastic component and how the remaining pattern is oriented in assembly.

The central bore, four holes and edge recesses
The bore center and nominated face locate the face holes. The model also needs dimensions and angular references for the curved edge recesses, with their clearance, locating or other function identified.
| Feature | Drawing requirements | Acceptance checks |
|---|---|---|
| Central bore & four surrounding holes | Dimension the central bore and all four surrounding holes from the same datums, including diameters, depths and positional limits. | Bore sizes and four-hole positions. |
| Curved working edges & thickness | Dimension repeated curved recesses, working-edge profiles and complete thickness. Identify contact surfaces, mounting and permitted edge treatment. Specify flatness or parallelism only where required. | Thickness and specified working-edge profiles. |
| Material & measurement condition | Specify the polymer grade, fillers and stock condition, with temperature, moisture, chemical contact, load and mounting requirements. Define conditioning and measurement support. List any electrical, optical, food-contact or medical tests and records separately. | Dimensions in the agreed conditioning and support state. |
Holding the circular form while reaching the perimeter
We support and clamp the circular part while leaving the central bore, face holes and perimeter recesses accessible. The setup plan identifies any reorientation needed to finish the pattern.
Define the function of the recesses and the positional checks for the working interfaces. Set the measurement condition for the chosen polymer, including any load or conditioning requirements.
Polymer and working geometry guide support and clamping. Assembly loads and contact forces matter around the bore, holes and curved edges.
For circular working interfaces, guides and fixtures, identify the locating bore, working perimeter and mating surfaces. Include the polymer grade and service conditions.
