Structural & aesthetic components
Mounting bores and bolt holes control assembly fit. Exposed contours also need appearance limits, kept separate from the requirements for load-bearing interfaces and their finishes.

Select the component you need quoted and provide its controlled drawing. Each pictured form is a separate reference, not a supplied set.
Mounting geometry and visible contours
Assembly datums locate the load-bearing and fitted interfaces. Cosmetic faces and permitted edge breaks need separate callouts, so polishing, engraving or another treatment preserves working edges and fits.
| Feature | Drawing requirements | Acceptance checks |
|---|---|---|
| Structural interfaces | Show mounting faces, holes and mating parts with assembly dimensions and fit limits. Distinguish these interfaces from decorative surfaces and weight-reduction profiles. | Assembly-fit limits. |
| Exterior contours | Identify cosmetic faces and specify appearance and tool-mark limits, including where tool-path texture is acceptable. | Specified appearance and tool-mark limits. |
| Finish & markings | Specify substrate, approved color and engraving references, artwork and any engraved details. Identify final dimensions that must remain within limits after treatment. | Artwork, color reference and final dimensions. |
Holding the part without losing visible faces
We plan fixture contact around the mounting bores and exterior contours. The drawing should show where clamping contact or minor witness marks are acceptable on surfaces that remain visible in use.
Include the loads and service conditions needed to assess the design. Specify structural validation, color standards and coating requirements separately from dimensional inspection.
For UAVs, 3D printers and motion systems, mounting geometry and finish need to suit each other. Mark load-bearing sections and visible faces on the drawing.
